this damn cold is going to kill me! after the temps going up and down, up and down, I finally ended up with the cold that the whole family had. Not only does winter suck, but so does the illnesses that come with it. let alone the shorter days.
So to those of you that dont have to suffer through winters of cold and snow, I sallute you!
*sniffle* now give me a tissue
and if the bird flu hits, YIKES!

Ah yes, the swine flu, which we went through back in the days before the Internet and instant communication across countries and thirty years of medical advances...there's no way we'll be prepared for the bird flu this time... [img]graemlins/hmmm.gif[/img]
That said, the problem won't be with the U.S. but with countries like China, where the bird flu could be devastating. It behooves the U.S. to offer some aid to other countries--contain the bird flu there and it won't even get here.
Chaser, I can sympathize with you, I caught a head cold from my gf that's bringing me down just when I'm in the home stretch for my Master's thesis. SUCK!

Jor, we used to get winters like you guys do up in chicago. we do get snow and if we get an inch or 10 inches, I HATE THE STUFF! and to hell with the blistering cold temps!

Wow 61 whole people in the entire world, in the last two years, contracted it and died? Holy shit! How many people in the world died of snake bites or lightning strikes or bee stings in the same span?
